Sometimes, when I listen to African Americans who *repeatedly and harshly* criticize the African American community to white audiences, I often think one of the following things:

1. They had bad experiences with their family of origin and think whites are better. Notice, I am NOT saying whites ARE better, only that some African American conservatives seem to think so.

2. They are in it to make money and are laughing at white people behind their backs.

3. They are WAY TOO CONCERNED about what white people think of them and are trying to buy acceptance with their criticisms.

That someone would have any of these motives is sad.
