I did not actually say that AT &T execs personally intervened in the situation. What I was suggesting was that *network* execs, who certainly did have input into how much coverage Gabbard got, decided not to roil the waters by emphasizing a policy that could possibly hurt the bottom line of the parent company.

The fact that Gabbard is a minor candidate does not explain why other, equally minor candidates, got more coverage than she did.
